Become a Patron
Artist patronage has been around for over 4,000 years. Over the decades it has evolved… and greatly dwindled. Instead of supporting art for the sake of art, most “patrons” these days are in it for the business prospects or for a hefty return that leaves the artist worse off than before.
As an environmental artist, there are a lot of things I would like to do with my art. I’d like to be able to donate profits from my work to environmental organizations. I’d like to participate in research residencies, or volunteer for wildlife conservation efforts while seeking inspiration. And as much as I love drawing your pets, it would be nice to be able to devote myself to drawing what I’m inspired to draw (a long, ever-growing list) instead of constantly taking pet portrait commissions to survive.
If you’re a lover of art, an environmentalist, or both, please consider carrying on the legacy of the patrons of the golden age of art! For as little as the cost of one coffee a month, you can support both the arts and environmentalism, and allow me to bloom as an artist and fulfill my goals and dreams.
Thank you for your support, it means the world to me!
